He gets possessed again when the player character meets Calryex the second time, before being 'awakened' again and goes back to the inn. Peony himself appears again when the player character is in the mayor's house. He complains about that the hot water from the shower seems to have run out. Seeing that the mayor is in trouble about making a set of Reins of Unity for the player character, he decides to do it for himself.
